Short Term Skilled Occupation List ( STSOL ) – Updated 2021 list

Short Term Skilled Occupational Demand – updated for 2021

The STOL and MLTSSL are Australia’s occupational demand lists, in which specific occupations are included under Australia’s permanent and temporary skilled visa programs, allowing a qualified applicant to seek permanent residency in Australia. The Short Term Skilled Occupational Demand List (STSOL) was previously known as the Skilled Occupational List (SOL).

The Australian demand list, formerly known as the Consolidated Sponsored Occupation List, is now known as the Short Term Skill Occupation List (STSOL). STSOL is a list of jobs in Australia that are in high demand. If you wish to apply for an Australia-sponsored permanent residency (subclass 190), your job must be on the STSOL list and have a state government invitation or sponsorship. This list is also part of the Australia points system. If you meet the requirements, you can live and work in Australia indefinitely. There are 242 jobs on the list that are in great demand in Australia right now.

Around 200 jobs have been withdrawn from the government’s most recent need list. Additionally, 24 STSOL professions will now be eligible exclusively for employment in regional Australia (subclass 457 and subclass 186) and the State and Territory Nominated Stream of Subclass 489. As a result, before applying for state-nominated visas, ensure that your chosen occupation is in demand in the Australian labor market.
