Who is an ICT Business Analyst?
ICT business analysts are in charge of planning and applying technological solutions to improve the market and enhance profitability. Their work involves using strategic solutions to develop systems that suit the needs of both customers and business administrators. ICT business analyst comes under the ANZSCO group 261111 of Unit Group 2611 ICT Business and Systems Analyst. The majority of jobs in this unit category include a level of competence equivalent to a bachelor’s degree or higher.
For the formal qualification, at least five years of relevant experience and relevant vendor qualification can be substituted. Related experience and on-the-job preparation may be needed in addition to the standardized certification in some cases (ANZSCO Skill Level 1).
Job description and Task of a Business Analyst
ICT Business Analyst collaborates with clients to develop system specifications, system plans, and documents, analyze and assess current programs, and build and change systems to address users’ business needs.

You must choose one category from the Essential Core ICT Knowledge and another from the General ICT Knowledge section.
The Project Report Forms
A project report is a specific written outline of a project or involvement that allows you to demonstrate your abilities as an ICT Professional. Each report must be related to a notable project or job episode that you completed during your career. These reports aim to enable you to demonstrate your understanding and application of the Knowledge Areas.
You need to submit a total of two project reports. Out of the two reports, one must refer to a project completed within the past three years, and the other must apply to a project completed within the last five years.

For this first Project Report on “Bio-care Engine Textile Limited, the applicant was able to fulfil the following roles and responsibilities:
- Identifying and implementing appropriate analysis and audit methods for evaluating company processes, practices, and job results
- To analyze data using various tools such as NPAMS, PICS, and GDD and collaborate with subcontractors and workers to resolve site-related problems.

- To collaborate with users to develop and log market specifications.
- To conduct a review of the project specifications and source data to create a strategy for implementation.
- To initiate and track the optimization of current resources and processes.
- Coordination with the project owner is required to determine project specifications, schedule, budget, and calculation.
- To communicate with customers and to promote constructive and timely responses to challenges that arise.
- To coordinate training programs to improve the staff’s abilities and oneself to organize the internal quality management process and meet with other teams, such as vendors and managers, to formulate project schedules and control the project’s cost tools.
- Using data analysis and modelling techniques to produce simple system requirements for the design and production of system software
